Local Groups

Join One or Start One!

Local Groups are designed to facilitate an experiencial aspect to ETI studies with local field outings to view the night sky and attempt mutual peaceful contact. We have often had "Unconventional" craft make an appearance and even interact with our groups. At the very least you get a nice evening under the stars among friends communing with the Cosmos and enjoying the Universe.

Topics include: human-initiated ETI contact; origins and motives of current ETI visitors; the ETS' make-up; peaceful applications of ETI technology and 'new' physics; non-harmful disclosure for all peoples of the world, security and diplomacy issues; world peace and unity as a prerequisite for extensive ETI contact and universal peace.

And if you're curious, YES, Tashina has attended some of our field outings. Early on only a few in the group knew who she was, at the more recent events she told everyone at her conference presentations. We had approximately 100 people in the field for my Invitation for Contact night at the Transformation 2012 conference in Pagosa Springs, Colorado in August of 2012. Many people had wonderful contact experiences meditating with the group under the night sky, and they all learned on the last day of the conference that they had a live physical Star Cousin right there among them the whole time. The audience took it very well, by the way.


FIELD OUTING EQUIPMENT LIST.

The only required equipment for you to bring is an open mind and a peaceful attitude.  A chair to sit on and layers of warm clothing depending on the climate are nice, or if you prefer you can use a pad to lay upon.  All other equipment is optional.

   RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT:
  • Binoculars (if you have them)
  • Camera. If you have one that is designed to see a wider spectrum, so much the better. Cannon makes a Digital SLR designed for Astronomy that does not have filters for Infrared and Ultroviolet, so it lets in a wider spectrum.
  • Small penlight if needed. Note: we try to minimize use of flashlights due to their effect on eyes and night vision. We find that with a combination of starlight and tuned up intuition, we don't need no stinking lights.
  • Gear bag – to hold and transport equipment
  • I like the Zero-Gravity recliner lawn chairs. They allow you to recline with head support, and to sit up and stand easily and quickly if you need to.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT:
  • Personal items – suggested are sleeping bag or blanket, and [depending on expected weather] winter coat, hat, gloves, warm socks, long underwear, sweaters, polar fleece vest or jacket, rain poncho, high-top hiking boots or athletic shoes (thorn-proof). Also, a folding chair – such as a camping chair [these are comfortable and easy to carry] or a hard plastic chair, snacks, water. If you bring toilet paper, please bring a small plastic bag to contain it after use. 
  • Green Lasers to point out references in the night sky. (CAUTION: Many aircraft are being hit by these green lasers, and they have the potential to temporarily blind the pilots or even cause permanent eye damage. DO NOT point them anywhere near anything that might possibly be an aircraft, aim way behind it or draw a very large circle around it. The FBI is taking lasing incidents VERY SERIOUSLY, and pilots are required to report lasing incidents. You can expect law enforcement to come swooping in on your location if an aircraft thinks the laser came too close or thinks it was aimed at them. I have personally been hit with a Laser while approaching Houston Intercontentinental Ariport, and it lit up the ceiling of the flight deck. Even the UFO's may consider it a threat according to Tashina, so use the laser to point out stars, planets, constellations, directions, and such, but use a more conventional spotlight for signalling purposes.
  • Optional. Boom box, battery powered (CD player) or other audio player – to play the CE-5  beeping field work tones or meditation recordings (Contact Specific ones are available from www.CSETI.org or I will soon be adding meditation MP3's of my own to this web site.
  • Radio transmitters, to transmit the CE5 tones via . Any type that transmits un-encryped tones. CB or Walkie-Talkie. Cell Phones break the signal down into digital code first.
  • Camcorder – easily portable, with battery packs and video cassettes (low or zero lux capability or Night Shot for at night is helpful) (Analog Hi-8 or similar is actually better evidence, as it is much harder to "PhotoShop" an analog tape.) Digital Image Stabilizers can make assumptions that distort the evidence, turn them off. An Optical Image Stabilizer is ideal.
  • Tripod (if desired)
  • Compass
  • Stabilizing binoculars
  • Night vision equipment
  • Tri-Field meter, magnetometer, static meters, temperature sensors, Geiger counter
